Location: Hvitserkur, Iceland
This incredible sea stack in the northwest part of Iceland stands 15 meters high, 2 meters thick, and is one of Iceland's most popular destinations. Like many things, in Iceland, you have to hike a bit to get to your destination but it’s always worth it. In the case of this image, you have to descend down a short but very steep rocky path at your own risk. Add some heavy camera gear for the full experience! I was lucky enough to reach here while the tide was low allowing me to capture the black sands Iceland is famous for.
