Easily one of my all-time favourite captures. This male polar bear, belly full from feasting on a walrus carcass, had settled in for a nap, completely at ease in his icy domain. Behind him, a towering glacier rises like a frozen monument, a stunning backdrop that speaks to the raw, remote beauty of the world these powerful animals call home.
